Terms and Condition

By purchasing a photography session, package or pre-order with Marco Tambis, also known as Shotslikesumo, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Definitions

 Photographer: Marco Tambis, operating under the nickname Shotslikesumo.

 Client: The person or entity booking the photography services provided by the Photographer.

 Event: The designated date and time for which the photography services are booked.

 Images: Photographs taken by the Photographer during the Event.

Booking and Payment

 Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once the Client has paid the full amount for the chosen photography package, pre-order or session.

 Payment Terms: All payments must be made in full at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation by the Client.

Cancellation

 Cancellation by Client: In the event of a cancellation by the Client, no refund will be provided.

 Should the client not show: No refund will be provided

 In the event the client performs poorly and doesn’t complete the event: No refund will be given.

 Cancellation by Photographer: If the Photographer needs to cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Image Rights and Usage

 Usage Rights: By purchasing a photography package, the Client grants Marco Tambis full rights to use the Images for promotional purposes on his social media, website, portfolio, and other marketing materials.  Client Usage: The Client is granted personal and commercial use rights to the Images. This includes the ability to use the Images for marketing, advertising, and other commercial purposes.  Model Release: The Client acknowledges that any individuals photographed during the Event have consented to the use of their likeness in the Images and for the promotional purposes outlined above.

Liability

 Limitation of Liability: The Photographer's liability for any claim, loss, or injury arising from the Event or these Terms and Conditions is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the photography package.

 Indemnification: The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Marco Tambis from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Client’s use of the Images or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

 Loss or Damage: Marco Tambis is not liable for any losses or damages incurred during the Event, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or financial loss. Miscellaneous

 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

 Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

 Amendments: The Photographer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any amendments will be posted on the Photographer’s website and will take effect immediately upon posting.

By proceeding with a booking, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed

I competed at a meet and I saw you taking photos. Did you take any photos of me?

Yes. I take photos of every single lifter (sometimes including their coach) at comps/meet.

I want to see a preview of my photos first.

Unfortunately I stopped doing previews due to amount of lifters I shoot and the time it takes to edit all of them. However, if you want to see previews. message me on instagram or facebook and I will try and send you a preview once I finished editing the lifters that ordered their photos. This might take a long time so I strongly recommend you order your photos if you want it as soon as possible.

Do you only sell by album?

Yes. I only sell lifters photos as a whole package.

How long do I have to wait for my photos when I placed my order?

QUALIFIER MEETS (usually weekends and less than 100 lifters) - you will receive your photos within 1-2 weeks of your order. However, please understand that certain circumstances may necessitate additional time. NATIONALS/BRITS (or any meets that has 200+ lifters) your photos can take up to 4-6 weeks of placing your order. NOTE: I edit the photos chronologically which means first come first serve.

How will I receive my order/photos?

You will receive a link from WeTransfer where you can download your photos through your email. Please make sure you type in your email correctly.

I didn't compete but can I buy a lifter's package?

Of course you can. Just make sure you give me the lifters name and provide some details that will make it easier for me to identify the lifter like what singlet, day competed, weight class etc.
